Lithium batteries have been around since the 1990s, but their popularity has exploded in the past few years. GOLDENMATE Lithium Battery is a LiFePO4 battery, and this in itself makes it superior to many others. The LiFePO4 (Lithium iron phosphate) battery is much better than the usual lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery. LiFePO4 is the latest development in the battery industry.

Although LiFePO4 is a type of lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery, the former is much better than the latter in several ways. LiFePO4 batteries are much safer and stable, thus less prone to thermal runaway and overheating issues that have plagued lithium-ion batteries. It means you can confidently keep a LiFePO4 battery in your home without worrying about fire safety issues.
